Highlights
“Creating Ella was all about finding the right balance between comfort, function, and design.”
The story behind it
Why I designed it
I wanted to create a carrier that felt just as comfortable for the owner as it does for the dog. Ella is designed to be practical enough for everyday life while giving dogs a safe place they recognize wherever they go. From the comfortable shoulder straps to the removable teddy blanket, every detail is made to make shared adventures simpler and more enjoyable.
What it took to get it right
Creating Ella was all about finding the right balance between comfort, function, and design. We carefully chose durable materials, refined the proportions for a comfortable carry, and added thoughtful details like the front storage pocket and removable teddy blanket. The result is a carrier that works all year round and transitions effortlessly from transport bag to travel bed.
Why customers love it
Ella is more than a carrier—it's a familiar, comforting space your dog can take anywhere. Customers love how it combines everyday functionality with timeless design, making trips to cafés, city strolls, travel, and daily errands easier for both dog and owner. The removable teddy blanket adds extra comfort when needed and adapts effortlessly to every season.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
